Biography

Aman Pal Singh is a London-born Indian classical musician known primarily for his work as a tabla artist. Raised in a musical family, he began learning tabla at the age of six under Ustad Abdul Sattar Tari Khan, a highly respected maestro of the Punjab gharana. His early dedication to Hindustani percussion led to a significant milestone at just seventeen, when he was invited to perform at the Sri Baba Harivallabh festival in Punjab, one of the oldest and most respected classical music events in India.

Alongside tabla, Aman Pal Singh has developed skills as a vocalist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, performing instruments such as cajón, harmonium, dhol, harp, and keyboard. His musical interests extend across genres, which has shaped his versatile presence in concerts and collaborative work.

Since relocating to Sydney in 2018, he has contributed to the city’s growing Indian classical music scene through performances, studio sessions, and teaching. He runs Aman’s Music School, offering training in a range of instruments both online and in person, supporting the next generation of artists.
