Biography
Aditi Krishnaprakash represents a significant voice in contemporary Carnatic classical violin. Beginning her musical journey at the age of four, her artistry has been shaped under the guidance of violin maestros Ganakalabhushana Vidwan H. K. Narasimha Murthy and Sangita Kalanidhi Vidwan R. K. Shriramkumar. This rigorous training has resulted in a style marked by aesthetic sensitivity, a rich and resonant tone, and artful bowing, firmly rooted in classical tradition.
Her early promise was recognized through the Ministry of Culture, Government of India scholarship for classical music. In 2025, Aditi achieved a major professional milestone by earning the top grade from All India Radio, placing her among the youngest violinists to receive this honor. Since then, she has been featured in numerous All India Radio national programs and Sangeet Sammelans.
Aditi is widely in demand both as a solo performer and as an accompanist. She has performed at prestigious venues across India and internationally and regularly collaborates with leading vocalists and instrumentalists, including several stalwarts of the Carnatic tradition. Her versatility and musical sensitivity have made her a valued presence on the concert platform.
Alongside her musical career, Aditi holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), reflecting a balance between academic achievement and sustained artistic excellence.
